Adjusting windshield sprayer nozzles

One of my passenger-side nozzles does an excellent job of spraying...the roof of my wagon! :) I tried to adjust the nozzle myself using a pin, which is the same technique I've used on every other car I've ever owned, but the nozzle didn't seem to want to move and I was worried about possibly breaking something so I didn't push it too much. I tried calling both dealers in town today, but it was apparently Field Day for them or something as I got voicemail every time, at both places.
Has anyone here adjusted the spray nozzles themselves? If so, what tool did you use? Thanks!
