Like on a highway without too much traffic. Once you encounter traffic where you have to brake once in a while, it's better to turn off cruise and lift the throttle pedal when you see someone slower ahead instead of having to brake.
Doing this (and running the tires at 40PSI) I averaged over 30 MPG on my way home from work, which is mostly highway going 75-80 MPH and a bit of city driving.
