find scratched lines about an inch or so long, you may consider using a regular black rolling ball pen, not a regular ball point pen, but one of these fine uni-ball INK pen.
I have charcoal leather interior, and I got some fine scratched lines on my rear cushsion and I tried a number of things, including shoe polish but I like the pen method. Don't use a permanent marker like Sharpie, the black color tends to shine rather than a non-reflective black.
The problem with shoe polish is that anyone sitting around that area will rub some of it off. The pen ink dries up rather quickly, especially on bare exposed/scratched leather.
I would try on a tiny portion of the scratch first and see if that works for you.
Of course, the best way is just to call a leather furniture repair shop and ask what they recommend. Please post if you get some good advice.
