2000 Aero Suspension Mod?

I am curious as to what options are available to mod the suspension on my 2000 9-5 aero. Currently both of my back shocks are leaking and need to be replaced, and as I have never been fully happy with the suspension performance, I am considering an upgrade, don't want to lower the car too much as I occasionally find myself on a bumpy dirt road, but I was wondering what was out there that might improve upon the stock suspension, any info is appreciated.
