Whu started this rumor? There is no way to adjust the headlamp voltage using Tech-II. The current goes from the battery, through a relay, through current balance (for lights out warning), through fuses, and then directly to the headligt lamps.
The only 9-5, that I know of, with variable voltage to the low beam is mine and that is only beacause I did the redesign myself. When in DRL mode I feed 10.9V to the bulbs, otherwise 13.5V.
