A blast to drive, but…….
I haven’t said much regarding my problems on this board for two years,
But enough is enough.

I’ve owned six SAABS since 1990. One used, five new.
Currently have 1999 9-5 SE, 2000 Aero, and 2001 SE Convertible.
My 2000 Aero has been the car from Hell.
Aero has averaged three days in shop per month since
purchase in January 2000 (that’s 72 days out of service if your counting). The following are just a few of the items I remember
being REPLACED under warranty starting with the
window the first week one of ownership:

Rear window due to faulty antenna.
Drivers' side power seat motor.
Shift lock solenoid (replaced 2 times).
Head Gasket.
ECM unit (twice).
DI Cassette (to correct starting problems).
SID display in dash.
Radio/CD Unit (CD failed).
AC/Heating control unit in dash.
Sunroof wind deflector.
Fan motor.
Drivers side front strut, wheel bearings and knuckle.
The above items do not include repairs due to SAAB
Service Bulletins to numerous to mention.

The dealer has been great, no problem with getting a loaner, etc.
However, I truly believe my Aero was built from the reject parts bin.
How one car can have so many problems is beyond me.
In case your wondering, 30,000 miles on the odometer.
My other five SAAB's, a few minor problems but
nothing this magnitude.

What next?

Had to vent, thanks.
