DJ: Congrats on the new car.I personally see no use for the paint sealant, and have never used either carpet or leather protectors.
When a car is new, most manufacturers say you sould do noting with the paint for three to four months from when it is painted.Quite frankly,Saab's current paint sop produces some of the best finishes in the industry, and my 4 year old 9-5 looks showroom new as far as the paint is concerned, and so does the carpet and leather.Even with all that,no one wants to buy it with high miles, so clearly the quality of the condition is not paramount in the resale value. If you are in the car for the long term, regular care will keep the finishes just fine. If you trade often and tink that these treatments will make your car more desirable at trade in, guess again. I think the 800 bucks is a waste of money.
