I have an 02 aero 5 speed that I purchased in 04 for 22k with 23k on the odometer. This car has been serviced with all dealer recommended serving and mobil 1 every 3k to 5k. Here are the issues:
Windows are loose and sound bad when closing the door and windows down - this is on both front door windows, rear are fine.
Little plastic things fell out on the door lever on the inside, no big deal, but it's small plastic thing that covers a bolt.
Clutch went at 63k and I was told there are probably issues with transmission. This was two years ago, called GM complained, GM installed new transmission, I paid for new clutch.
Other than that, knock on wood, it's at 83k and no issues. I switch wheels twice a year. The car looks new, the interior is fine and the exterior is fine, too.
Considering the new clutch and tranny, I am going to keep this thing till at least 150k and hope to re-coop my outlay of a new clutch and GM supply a new tranny.
All in all happy. The turbo is peppy, the MPG great, the 02 looks better than the newer models in my opinion.
