Depending on the years of the car it is a couple of different procedures.
Early 9-5, push "clear" button once to confirm message. After that push and hold "clear" button for 8 or more seconds until "service" comes up on the screen.
Later 9-5, ( approx 2001 and up) push "+ button" until you see the temperatur message. Push and hold "clear" button for 8 sec or more until "service comes up on the screen.
