I have 2 Turbo cars, my 9-5 Aero manual 5spd Sedan and my Integrale.
When I got my 9-5 Aero I noticed less power when I would
use BP RON 98 Octane Gas, thus I always used Shell or Agip
RON 98 Octane gas.
This week while I was driving my Integrale I had to get
gas and I could only get BP RON 98 Octane gas.
On by Integrale which has 1 Bar boost and 1.1 Bar
overboost, using the BP GAS I can only get
0.7 Bar boost and 0.8 Bar in overboost. This kind
of confirms what I had noticed when I used the BP
GAS in my Aero. In the case of my Integrale I could
hear the pinging under full boost (0.8 Bar with that
GAS)... then the ECU would cut back to 0.7 Bar.
SO... AVOID THE BP RON 98 OCTANE GAS, it's no good
bad for you engine and a real ripoff as its as expensive
as real good GAS.
Regards,
Coolknight
PS: B.P. = Barely Petroleum... LMAO
