The service guy at Garry Small had never heard of a problem like this in the a 2002 and figured it was an improperly installed oil filter or loose drain plug. I'm taking it in tomorrow afternoon to have it checked out. Hopefully it's something simple.
When we bought the wagon earlier this month, the lease options on the Aero didn't seem that great (unlike the Linear). We're trying to be on the 10-year plan with cars, so really didn't mind purchasing the car. And right now, I just can't imagine needing any more horse power. The Aero gets up and moves as it is. I'm afraid of getting in trouble (ie, speeding tickets) with 250hp. I can't imagine chipping it up to 280 or 300.
As for AWD, well, that would be tempting. But from everything I've heard, the Saab's traction control system is good enough to manage the 20 times a year it will be in snow or icy conditions. So far I've been very impressed with it's handling in wet conditions, even with the 'summer' tires on.
