OBD Connector Epic Fail and Headlights, too...

Failed on no-communication: Turned out there was a snapped-off pin from somebody else's OBD connector jammed in there so the connector was pushed out and it didn't stay seated on the retest when I tried it again. Oops. May need a new connector.
Anyway. New issue when I got home...
I noticed the headlights don't come on with the switch in the full-right position (nor the panel lights), where they're supposed to. They come on in the middle position with ignition on, and only markers with it off (expected), and are off to the left (expected). This is with DRL fuse pulled (as has been the case for years). It's almost the opposite symptoms as a bad ignition switch, could it still be the switch? Could this have also killed 12v to the obd connector and given me the no-comm despite finding the loose wires?
Thanks, -- FSky '00 Aero
