Metal clanking sound

First time at this, so here it goes. I have a 2004 9-5 Arc w/ 58,000mi. (First time owner, love the car.) Most of the time when I hit a bump it sounds like two small thin metal rods are clanking against each other under the front driver's side/front wheel. Took it to my Saab dealer and they were unable to detect any problems and unable to replicate the sound. (I think because you have to drive it in a residential area where the sound bounces back off the buildings.)
Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Thanks.
