I am a V6 owner, the engine to frame support may be different. A tip from the C900 board, use discarded brake pads as a support between frame and engine. I just change belts (came and serpentine) on the V6 using this method. Worked well. Regretably, an unrelated transmission failure on the tesst drive has again disabled the car. DO NOT USE CHEAP JACK STANDS. Back in my youth I used an aluminium jack. It was really for supporting a trailer not a 1964 Thunderbird. I was lying underneath and thought I saw slight movement. I rolled out from under the car. 5 seconds later "CRASH". The aluminum had folded. I have used the welded sheet metal types but have now dicarded those as well. GET GOOD ONES! As a test, after securing the vechicle on the stands put your hip against it and give a good push. I would rather have it drop then than when I am under it. Be safe, best regards. PFB.
