Does it feel to more slop in the gear shifter than before? If so, it could be the front bushing at gear selector switch arm that is worn out.
Unfortunately, that bushing is part of the whole cable.
I never had to do any fine adjustments on these cables so I don't know more than what WIS says which is pretty straight forward. But that adjustment is more if the gear shifter doesn't agree with the detent or display.
By the way
WIS 2004-3 have the ride height specs but it is gone in 2005-1.
