My TomTom suction-cup, mounted just bellow the rear-view mirror, had worked well for 2 years before falling out. Now it won't stay attached at all, with or without the unit mounted. The Go740 model just fits in the little space in front of the speedometer window -- it blocks the meter, but TomTom displays your speed) -- so that's where mine is now. It's little difficult to operate it while driving, however, best not to fidget with it in that position.
