I can only speak for myself... I was considering buying a -01 Aero with auto, but after testdriving 3 different ones, I choosed not to.
Reasons: Way to much vibrations when stationary and to sensitive to bad roads, which we have alot of where I live. I considered buying a V6 instead, since it was much smoother, but when I heard about the coming 5-speed auto on -02, I waited for it instead.
When -02 came, I testdrove 2 different aeros with auto and 1 with manual. None had vibrations. Thats when I ordered my own aero(auto).
I am very happy with it.
The only thing I am not happy with is that before the gearbox gets warm, it revs longer on lower gears and shifting could be smoother.
But once it gets warm, its great. I especially like the way it uses the torque instead of shifting.
Maybe there is a difference when running on Swedish gasoline compared to US?
