Just replaced my heater bypass valve this weekend to fix one leak and this mornigng I go out to see a small puddle from the front. definitely looks like coming down the block from where the block pipe connects from the water pump. of course can't be sure that's only it as hard to get even a mirror around down there without pulling stuff out. man! I just resealed this 18 months ago! even used a new pipe and seals. only 30k miles ago! argh!!

so...do I go ahead and replace the water pump too while I have it all out? it was replaced in 2007 at 103k miles so 72k miles ago. ant advice on which pump to get? 1999 SE LPT. I was already planning a coolant flush/replace in next 5k so already order 2 gallons of blue.

any chance the leak would get very bad in the event I cant get to this repair in the next couple weeks? I already am toting RO water and Saab blue coolant around for the other leak. so far this is much slower than the heater bypass leak.
