Just posting this note informationally. I have not had very good luck with Beck Arnley parts - they were ahead of the curve in global sourcing fifteen years ago or more. I purchased parts from them for both a VW and a Honda, and the parts expired way too soon. But that was then, and . . .
What I know about Brazil is that it is a booming economy, and that they have a large and growing automotive manufacturing base. Just one example is Mahle, which has been in Brazil since 1951. They have a major engineering design center in Brazil in addition to manufacturing. So if I were sourcing parts globally, I might look to find good quality at a lower price point in Brazil. This is not a guarantee that all Brazilian made parts will be high quality, but it explains why we can expect to see more Brazilian made parts in the US market.
Just some background,
Mark in Marine (MN)
