Thanks, Les. I've had it re-programmed at the Saab place, which somewhat changed the starting misbehavior, but today it was towed a second time.
When I say won't start (sorry!) I mean no juice whatsoever. Sometimes fooling around with other switches - windows, headlights, fixes it and it will start right up. For a while I was convinced it would always start if one were to wait fifteen minutes, but today I started it in a garage, drove it for less than a minute, turned it off to go pay for parking, then it wouldn't start until the tow truck driver got it to start - about an hour ofter the few seconds of driving (I'd been in the garage for hours).
I'm hoping it's the ignition, and not the Crank position sensor, which is the other popular candidate for a fix, but soooo expensive. We'll see! Thanks. - Carla
