if it stays in depressed position, the radio with stay on, as if the key was still in...

some people use a bit of graphite on the barrel, and it frees it up.

this happens occasionally in my 1999 9-5 SW.

and if the barrel is not in the correct position, you can't lock the car - because it thinks the key is in!
