Front Bumper Chip Repair

My wife bumped into a post at a gas station and scratched the front bumper. This was a few months ago, and it was really just some scratches in the paint. Now, we noticed that the white plastic of the bumper is chipping off (apparently, the bumper isn't just painted white, but actually a rigid white plastic cover).
Originally, I was just going to use some touch-up paint, but now I need to prevent the chips from spreading, and fill in the gaps of where it chipped off. Any suggestions for what to use?
Thanks in advance.
