Long story short: MY05 ~170k km. Having slight hiccups while running on highway. Code indicated throttle body a few weeks ago, cleaned it for first time and ran smoothly until yesterday. Got into limp-home, rough idle that is higher than normal. Reset limp home and ECU last night, seems fine this morning except having slight hiccup.
Did some research and said that a new TB may not be the solution. I gathered some info and thinking to do the following:
1. Clean MAF sensor
2. Clean electrical contacts (some even suggested loose soldering joints at circuit board)
Is there anything that I should do or check before considering a new TB or send it to BBA?
Many thanks!
