Yeah.
The newest form that Roger mentions, the "Dame Edna" has no weather band and the inside door panels are hard plastic but for the most part they're the best choice. The other problem with these from around 2007 is they're fewer in number; not many to choose from.
Still, the cost of a used one has come down so much, I concur in your decision to replace the whole thing. If you're not married to the wagon I think the sedan handles better but none of these 9-5s are the best handlers. Sedans are also cheaper and more plentiful in all years.
One last thing: I wouldn't get the V-6 under any circumstances.
