Ref 2003 9-5 AERO
The front Xenon level sensor black plastic arm attached to the sensor broke. The new sensor arrived today and has a ball at the end of the plastic arm. This ball attaches to the separate piece that attaches to the lower suspension A arm. I can remove the new ball on the arm and replace it with the old one or remove the ball from the separate piece if someone can tell me how. Why did they include the ball??
I also ordered a new wire harness for the sensor. Any tips on replacing the harness? The car is buried in snow until the harness arrives.
Thanks for comments and advice.
