I don't know about your deal's merit, but a Linear might seem less 'peppy' than your present 9-3, the Aero more powerful. So depending on what kind of $ you'll feel comfortable paying ($100 bucks a month may be nothing to you, or it might go a long way towards something else you have in mind), the Aero will give you some luxury plus more room and power, the Linear perhaps the perception of less power, but an overall roomier and more luxurious ride than your 9-3 (I don't particularly care for the 9-3's size or ride, but it does move!)
I have 2 '01 'Linears' (not their real name in '01, but almost the same car) and I think they're great during my 60 mile per day commute (both highway and city). And I came from a larger, 300 HP car -- so while I lost a lot of power and room, I gained tremendous mpg value and a really fun car to drive -- particularly in 'Sport' mode, when you want or need that little extra push.
