I switched mid summer from Michelin Pilot Super Sport to RE970's and I said I'd post back with feedback after I got some miles on them. So far, they are great! Handling in terms of what a 9-5 can do on public roads is pretty much the same (PSS was awesome in that regard). I've done a bunch of rainy highway treks lately, and the 970 is phenomenal in rain. I hit a puddle coming off an exit ramp - much deeper than expected - at speed (at least 55mph) and the grip was great. Water sprayed, non-event for the car. Much like I'm used to in the c900s with the narrower tires. Absolutely no hint of hydroplaning so far and I'm traveling about the same speed in rain as in the dry.
Anyway, 2 thumbs up on these from me! We'll see how they do as they wear down (I know there is some risk they could get noisy). Anyway, so far so good.
