Had this issue in my 9-5. The springs on the deflector arms torqued the little plastic clips. One option is to remove the wind deflector altogether but I didn't like the wind noise that made. I hobbled along using epoxy to hold the plastic clips down into the gutter, but now that I am older and wiser I would probably drill a small hole through the clip, into the aluminum frame of the sunroof, dab some black silicone sealant in there, and put a pop-rivet or stainless screw through it. I don't have a 9-5 anymore to try this with though.
