I deleted the resonator on one of my Aeros to see if I could get a "meaner" sound. Removing it made virtually no difference inside the car, outside the car at any RPM.
Although I have heard that the V6 is a different story. deleting the resonator on the V6 does make for a louder, rumble/growl. But not disturbing.
My other Aero has the full Remus SS exhaust which has a very nice, understated growl.
