It's not uncommon when you wrestle with bulbs and bulb sockets that you break the filament on an old bulb almost ready to break.
Just closing the hood the last time can be enough to break old bulbs.
It is very frustrating for a car mechanic when you have just done an oil change and checked/replaced a few bulbs and they call next day or the same day saying another bulb is out. Didn't you check the bulbs when you had the car in?
Those small 194 bulbs are extra weak and I replace a lot of them in Saab's and Volvo's.
