Hey all, the wife's 01 aero 152k all of a sudden sprung a leak at the top radiator cooling line into the radiator. Not sure how to say this but it appears to be coming from the head of the hose and the metal nut of the radiator. Forgive me its been a long day and I can't think of the names of the parts right now. I have tried tightening the banjo bolt and that changed nothing. But my question is is there supposed to be a washer in between there? If so would it be possible that I could perhaps buy a rubber washer or maybe one of those metal washers with the rubber inner to be able to stop the leak? As I type this I'm thinking to myself yes there is supposed to be a washer in there on both sides I believe, well there's one question answered. I have never had this problem before because I have never owned an automatic (I despise them but its what the wife can drive) always owned manual. I don't want to have to replace the radiator for something so minor if it can be fixed very easily. I want to ask before doing to know if it is even worth trying or should I just pick up another radiator. I don't know to much about the car yet just that we picked it up for a nice price because the bottom bolt for the a/c bracket snapped off in the block and the previous owners didn't have the money to get it fixed and keep up with bills. The car had no leaks when purchased and for now I have stuck the a/c bypass belt on there and it works great. The leak just appeared out of nowhere a few weeks after purchase.
