Auto Climate Control Issues

I had my 9-5 Aero in for the 30 day service. I have the AC groan after the car is shut off that so many others have mentioned. Additionally, the AC does not cool the car when set on Auto. For example on a day when the outside temp is 90 degrees I can set the AC to 66 degrees and it will blow with the fan on high for about 2 or 3 minutes and then drop to low speed. The problem is that the car is still 90+ degrees inside. I was quite annoyed with my dealer when they told me everything was working fine and they did not hear the groan noise. I told them to keep the car another day. The tech heard the noise and said it was the expansion valve (which I told them when I brought the car in)and that Saab was to be coming out twith a fix for this soon. Haven't some of you gotten this fixed already? As for the temp they said the air coming out of the vent was 42 degrees so the the AC was working fine. I have to assume the tech has no idea how the Auto climate control is supposed to work. I bought my own temp gauge and found that it can take over 10 minutes to get the vent temp down to 44 degrees. In my other cars this happens in just a few minutes. Anyway, the issue is that the AC seems to think it has cooled the interior of the car down to the desired temp when it has not. Anyone else have this problem.
