I suspect the bar could be heated and reshaped somewhat. The right side engine mount was done last year at 180k. The rear mount was checked by a shop and pronounced fit to carry on when the subframe was out for bushings. The front "dogbone" was done at 100,000 miles seven years ago. The one under the battery has never been done. The engine moves very little when revved.
What I'd love to see is a Krona bar that has detachable mounts for each strut tower, and a bar with multiple turnbuckle type threaded fasteners. That would give it multiple adjustments. No two old SAABs are exactly alike and that would accommodate them.
