Itsasaab posted a lot of info.
I believe that the 2005 Arc is the lower-tuned (i.e., lower turbo pressure) engine, so not sure if you'd use the same plug as the Aero engine (std on all later models). Even if not required, I don't think that you could go wrong with this plug. For mine, it's the NGK PFR6H-10 (a Platinum plug), with a gap of 0.95 mm or 0.0374".
Dielectric grease is always part of my plug replacement procedure, or any underhood electrical connection removal/reinstallation. For the DIC I try to get it deep in the tip.
