Thanks for the info. Engine is already apart so I just need to find a way to block off that one passage. I don't want to leave the shaft in the engine at this point.
The only other option I see is the drill from the outside and block it off. There is a write up on in from someone in the UK. Didn't want to get that extreme but I think if they come out they are not going back in.
Seems the vibration is a minor issue. I am also going to balance the pistons and connecting rods to give it the best shot at a smooth running engine.
I will give an update when finished.
