understood, that makes sense.
the irritation with new springs is that you install them, along with the other suspension bits, set the ride height properly and all is good. But about 6 months later they have sagged to the the height that they will remain for the rest of their life. So just be aware of that if you go new (it bit me on 2 of my cars before I learned my lesson)
FWIW I've found that Goldwing is both knowledgeable and honest so that is an option too.
