Thanks KW, I must have been mistaken on the year, it must have been an '03, the PNP did an interchange check and it was good.
FIXED!
Thank you again KW for clueing me into the that oil pan. I don't think I'd have every found it, it's pretty hidden.
What I found:
1) Front DIC was loose, I missed cinching it down when I last changed it and found the screws loose by 3-4 revs.
2) pulled the vac line off the oil pan stud and a band of the hose was left on the nipple! it must have had a small crack in it, hence, the 'small evap leak' SEL a couple weeks ago. I had used starting fluid spray all around the vac lines before, looking for leaks and found no RPM change at the time.
3) changed the PCV out of an abundance of caution.
4) cleaned (?) reamed the oil pan port stud with a wire brush filament held with long needle nose plyers. The SAI valve/pipe on the aft header prevented using a fine drill bit like you suggested.

Now it runs smoother. I haven't taken it out for real run yet but will soon.
NOTE: I was getting much higher misfire clicks on 2-4-6 cyl's before cinching down the front DIC so I switched front and back DIC's and will check the count in a few hundred miles and report back.
Thanks again!
Rick
