Replacement for Charge Air Tube to Throttle Body Hose Clamp? Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Sun, 18 Apr 2021 04:44:00 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I removed the Charge Air Tube from my Throttle Body to access the coolant By-Pass hose clamps. I installed a new O-Ring on the TB neck before reinstalling the Charge Air Tube. Tightened it using a ratchet.
The darn thing popped off while driving yesterday. The exact problem I was hoping to avoid by installing a new O-Ring rather than reusing the old! I hate these hose clamps, just don't seem strong enough.
Any recommendations for replacement Hose Clamp on this tube? Thinking of the clamps intended for silicone hoses which use an actual bolt rather than worm screw.
