Kinda late to the party here but I had to respond. I've done that line before. It's a common AC killer. The line rubs against a nut for a fitting on the Trans cooler line and wears through.
The line has a rubber section in the middle that affords removal out the bottom through an opening at the rear of the passengers side sub-frame. I removed the right headlight and then disconnected the line. I then disassembled the line from the receiver / dryer on the driver's side of the radiator. I also removed the receiver / dryer. I recall doing that with the grilles removed.
Move the line on the passenger's side over next to the drive belts. Pull the line in from the driver's side and bend the rubber portion of the line into a "U" so that it comes out the opening in the sub-frame in a "breech" position. The line can then be snaked out with some twisting. No need to take out the turbo inlet pipe or the fans.
I made a guard for the AC line where it passes the trans cooler fitting. I used rubber tubing and a piece of sheet metal and secured it with cable ties. Threading the line back in takes some patience but I remember starting with the longer portion of the line that goes over to the dryer and then manipulating the shorter end of the line past the drive belts. The rubber portion of the line went in last.
I look down and smile when I see the guard I made that helps keep the AC working at over 200k.
