I have the pilot sport 3 as+ and it is a great performance tire for the car. The other 9-5 has just got Nokian z-lines and they are very similar. Both are asymmetric but I generally prefer directional symmetric tires, there just aren't that many performance ones nowadays, at least of good brands, available, and at reasonable prices. Asymmetric tread patterns allow optimized tread blocks for inside and outside edges, but it means you can't flip them over the rims to even out tire wear. Fwiw, I care mostly about wet and dry performance and not too much about longevity (compromises performance), noise, comfort, etc.
