Pagid / ATE or Bosch .
When I hit the brakes , I expect them to stop the vehicle . And if I stomp on the brakes to avoid a road hazard I prefer a brake pad that will make the ABS and TCS react .
The OEM Pagid / ATE are my choice , Bosch Quietcast also work well .
My test has been from over 200,000 miles of hard driving , often with a small utility trailer in tow with a 2000 SE Wagon .
Brake Dust is not an issue , it is part of the system .
High Quality Rotors also need to be matched with new brake pads.
Again , I prefer the OEM ATE or Pagid .
If your rotors have been heat treated by those ceramic pads for so many miles , it is a good time to replace them . They must be toast . They will chew up and burn new pads , any brand .
Please be careful with brake repairs , check with a certified specialist to be sure . Be Safe !
