Earlier models had issue with headbolts/leakage in that corner, so it's worth investigating, though I thought the problem was with earlier model years, such as my 2001, which I did several years back. You may be able to retorque the existing bolts, and just replace the valve cover gasket while you're in there. I've read where some say the bolts can be reused/stretched one time.. while others say to replace them. Whichever way you go, be sure to review the procedure for retightening them, as it's very specific with respect to the sequence, etc.
As mentioned by others.. also look at the chain tensioner area.. as that area is also known for leakage with O-ring.. I recall it was a bit tight in that area to get at.. but not too bad..
