2004 9-5 wagon: would you fix this?

One of my kids has a 2004 9-5 wagon, bought about 1.5 years ago from our indy, pretty inexpensive and a first car. It has about 130K on the odo, and in the past year we've spent some considerable $$ fixing transmission lines, HVAC parts. etc. Now it's developed an oil leak. Indy says needs head gasket replacement - at least $2K. Also has in its future a couple of exhaust pipes that will need replacing, close to $1K all told.
Would you put more money into a Saab like this? It doesn't have any visible rust, and seems to drive pretty well. It's taken a couple of 800 mile trips without any issues.
You know the drill: it's a 19 year old car, etc etc etc. I'll admit we have 3 other Saabs still in the family: A 2006 9-5 Aero wagon with over 200K, a 2006 Arc wagon with 120K, an a 2001 9-5 Aero with 180K. I don't do any wrenching myself, as I lack the skills and anywhere to work on our vehicles.
So, to fix the head gasket and do the exhaust = maybe $3K or more. Would you do it?
TIA for your help!
