A few months back I posted to say that I had reported to my local dealer that the front windshield (screen?) appeared to have minute specs of material embedded right inside the glass - most noticeable in bright sunshine or when driving at night.
Got hugely messed around by SaabGB here in the UK - told by Saab Zone Service Manager (took 10 weeks to get an appointment to show the vehicle to him) face to face that the screen would be replaced. Only to find that five minutes later he had told the dealership staff that it was NFF (no fault found). Fixed him!
Screen was replaced under Warranty yesterday - and guess what? The Glass fitter identified the glass as 'contaminated'. A phone call from the Dealership Service Director confirmed that Saab have issued an official warranty code for 'contaminated glass' - it is a known problem.
So if your recent 95 has a windshield (screen) that always looks 'spotty' even when perfectly clean - complain! They know about it!
Good luck
