I bought a pair of the bulbs from the e-bay source. They are the Plasma H.I.D. Xenon look alikes. They are an H-7 bulb with a blue coating. They are 100W and the element is definately more substantial than the normal Osram H-7 at 55W. The power difference must mean a brighter lamp but I ahven't installed them yet as the car is still under warrenty. The individual low and high beam headlight fuses provide for the capacity to run a 100W bulb so this shouldn't be a problem. The adds not that these bulbs have a fiberglas pad between the prongs and the connector to prevent the connector from being heated up excessively. Also, suppose to be a 10 yr warrenty on these bulbs which is substantilly greater than the 2 year max (with DRL) that I get out of my normal bulbs (just put my original + 2nd bulb in one side and normally the other side will go in a month). In the spring these new bulbs will go in and then I will really get some flashing from oncoming cars whose drivers just don't belief that the present lights are so bright and must be on high beam (no alignment problem).
