DI cassette was the culprit

Thanks to all who responded to my earlier post. It was the DI cassette after all, and my car is fixed and smiling again. Although all's well with the world for now, I'm still a bit miffed at my misfortune and at being stranded - because I feel it could've been avoided. If this DI cassette is so trouble prone, why doesn't Saab do a voluntary recall and replace these for all 9-5s? I'm sure this question has popped up before.. Anyway, happy 4th of July to all.
