Saab make some of the best seats in the business they do seem to assume that a 'correct' seat position is assumed. How do you do that then? read on: I got here from a back specialist who pointed out that my 'old' seat position some years back was destined to give me a pain in the butt.............
1) Get the seat front edge as high as you can - this gets a bit of a bend in your knees which helps posture
2) Get the seat backrest as near to the vertical as possible - avoid the temptation to have the 'race driver' seat , laid right back. You will know when you have got it right because the headrest will be touching you head and your shoulders will be supported.
3) Adjust the steering wheel/forwards/backwards travel of the steering wheel so your arms are slightly bent and the wheel height means you shoulders are comfortably supported by the seat.
Keep trying small adjustments - you will reach the magic point - and realise that the seat designers were masters of their art indeed. Enjoy!
