I had Greenstuffs in my 2002 Aero from 6000 miles, and my 2003 Aero from Zero miles.
These pads are absolutely brilliant - as Lou has rightly pointed out you probably do have to press a little harder - the reward is stable, reliable, 'non-grabby' braking.
On small observation - the Greenstuffs that went into my 2002 with slightly worn disks took maybe 5000 miles to bed in - rememeber the EBC pads are copper/kevlar and thus don't wear the disk away to bed in, so the pad has to take up the contours of the disk. This will take a lot longer.
On the 2003 with pads going in on virgin disks they took maybe 300 miles to bed in - now I have absolutely fantastic brakes - I can well believe the 30-40% improvement that EBC claim. Interestingly this Aero is about to cross 10,000 miles - the front disk rotors are absolutely smooth, no grooves or scoring and no lip on the outer edge.
Perhaps there is a lesson in here - EBCs work best on new disks????
