Granted, it might not pulse the same wheel, but will you be able to tell the difference? Try taking off from a stop and performing a quick, sharp (90 degree turn). If your engine dies, you might have TCS. (This is the main reason I turn TCS off -- I don't like it when power goes away without warning.) Also, look at your instrument panel; if you have TCS and you can get it to work, the "TCS" light will light. I assume if you have ESP, there'll be an "ESP" light. Also, what does it say when you turn off TCS? Mine says "TCS Off".
