Thanks for the feedback guys. Its great to read your first-hand experiences. I am looking at the 'Linear' so a lot of the options (HK stereo,xenon lights, rain sensors) don't seem to be available. Do you think the base model sound system is adequate ?. I will miss not having rain sensors, as once you've used them (on the v70 for me) they make so much sense. Overall I can identify with the feel of SAAB more after having driven both cars.
I'm holding out a bit for a deal. It seems here in Boston there aren't a whole lot of wagons. The dealer has been accomodating but doesn't too seem motivated to make a 'deal'. I think the wagons are selling well. Inventory is low, they have a few in stock and more at the port... no 2003 models left. There are some good deals on 9-3's but I'm not at all interested in the more mainsteam new 9-3 look. I may hold out till March 'cause I want the wagon.
